Flyweights Atkinson vs Takwoingi meet under amateur MMA rules at SNA 30

The girls are back with a bang for our 30th anniversary event.

Flyweights Katherine Atkinson 0.1.0. (Genesis Gym) and Moti Takwaingi 0.0.0. (Ippon MMA) will be squaring off against each other in what is sure to be a barnstormer from start to finish.

Bournemouth’s Moti Takwaingi will be looking to make her amateur debut one to remember. This young woman has only been training around 18 months but her coaches could not be happier with the way she has applied herself in that time. Rarely missing a class since joining Ippon, she has put herself into a position to compete on what is without a doubt the biggest Shock n Awe to date.

Her opponent will be ‘veteran’ Katherine Atkinson who showed real promise in her recent debut. The result didn’t go her way that night, but she showed glimpses of her skill set which will surely give her a lot of confidence going into October’s clash.

Can Katherine get her first win or will Moti be making hers a night to remember?
