At Shock N Awe 29 there were two female amateur kickboxing bouts, with Wasmuffin gym beating Gym 01 in both.
Fast forward a few months and the winner of one of them, Isabel Vargas who cruised to a decision over Gym 01’s Emmeline Jones, will meet her team mate Zoe Bowes who lost to Vargas team mate Nadia Sousa in what was a convincing stoppage from Sousa.
Both gyms regularly meet each other on the local circuit and are no stranger to each others strategies and game plans. Wasmuffin gym will be confident from their results on Shock N Awe 29 but the question is will Bowes pull out any surprises or will Vargas shut her down and get another stoppage for her team?
