We last saw Danika Rudman at Shock N Awe 28 where she got an impressive stoppage over Kathryn Atkinson under Amateur MMA rules. Looking to keep active has been one of the hardest things for Danika in what is a very shallow weight division. She contacted us and said she will fight under any rule set.

Danika had already been matched for this event, for a day. So we sought to find Danika an opponent who was likely to make it to fight day without getting cold feet.

After a few potential match ups that didn’t come through, Shock N Awe and Bellator veteran Bryony Tyrell got in touch with us and said she had someone. Louise Kirby will be competing as an independent come October 19th but you can guarantee with someone as experienced as Bryony in her camp there will be no corners cut come fight day.

Kirby will be coming to the cage with more experience with a four fight record to Danikas one, but with the rest of the rule sets Danika has competed in we are expecting to see a tough battle between these two south coast athletes.
