Competing at Shock N Awe is something special. Walking out in front of 2000 people, the lights are flashing, the music is deafening as are the screams and shouts of the fans, you walk up to the flames where you’re greeted by photographers, cutmen, referees, officials and finally your corner team. It’s at that moment you know all of your training is for this one moment.
This can all be a daunting thought for even the most experienced fighter but come March 28th two young athletes have earned their chance to perform at Shock N Awe 31.
Matteo Ciotti is from arguably one of the busiest Muay Thai and K1 gyms in the south under Kenny Moyston. Regardless of age and experience you know all of their team come to fight and we’re looking forward to welcoming Matteo to the big show.
Flo Martial Arts head coach Steve Hollister has produced some great fighters that have featured on the events over the last few years and after seeing Josh Bishop headline his Pro K1 fight on Contenders we knew just how high the standard was at Flo. We are sure Dana will look up to the likes of Josh, and Connor Monohan who have impressed us with every performance and we can’t wait see this fight go down.
